Where We Are Right Now

Graham Crockford, Nick Page, Michael Crouch and Mark Bowler are walking 100km in 24 hours, without sleep, for Oxfam, assisted by their support crew: Ali Hamilton, Amanda Grimes, Jenni Daniel and John Scott. Watch their progress in realtime here on the 4th and 5th June. Tweet them moral support as they go around, and enjoy photos of destroyed feet and swollen knees.

Thanks must go to CHP Consulting for the very generous donation to the cause!

Encouraging Literature

Hope is the refuge of the weak.
The Long Walk by Richard Bachman (actually Steven King) tops the list of the books that no-one about to do what we are about to do should ever have read. Although luckily our support crew will be more about the hot food, massage, fresh socks and encouragement, and less about horrible death.

Hopefully.

Preparations going well

As a youth, I used to weep in butchers' shops.
Just a week to go, and almost all the kit has now been bought, food has been planned, IT has now been sorted out, Graham's knee is still buggered and a constant source of worry, and most importantly, we have the full script of Withnail and I, which we intend to recite to get us through the night time.

What could go wrong?
